He graduated from the College of Medicine and Surgery with distinction with honors, then he spent his deputation at Abbasiya Mental Health Hospital, then he was appointed at the university to teach and conduct scientific research. He attended many conferences, workshops and training courses in the field of psychiatry and joined many local and international institutions, academies and scientific associations.
